This classic is a fascinating read, and helps build a solid technique foundation.	How to cook everything for only $23!	All-purpose, well written and a cookbook staple.

The magazine may be history, but the books live on....and are wonderful.	A rather obscure volume, but filled with wonderful recipies and photos - very inspiring.	Buy one or buy the set - I have all but one, and they are fabulous. I learned to read with cookbooks, and these were the ones!!

It's amazing what I've learned from Jacques Pepin.	A useful book for learning the basics of Japanese cooking.	This is one serious compilation of cooking terms, techniques and ingredients.
