About
I owned a restaurant once – before I became a Realtor. Then I was a sous-chef WHILE being a Realtor (OK – that was insane). Now I’m a Realtor by day (and night), usually seven days a week. I still cook everyday, since the cost of eating great food out can be prohibitive! So here I am, cooking great food in my kitchen without spending a lot of money – it really is my “downtime”, keeping my sanity in this rather insane real estate market. I’m always sharing my food with friends, always talking about food, so here’s another step in the process – sharing it with you. Photography also happens to be another of my passions so enjoy my photos of the creations!
Thank You for visiting my food blog, Timeless Gourmet!

I feel your real estate pain … I was a broker in Oregon until the market fell apart, and am once again in I.T. in the wonderful Silicon Valley. Great site and I added you in Foodbuzz as well.
Larry.
Thank you Larry – pain shared always hurts less somehow! I heard just this morning about a lot of Silicone Valley Companies’ woes due to stock incentives evaporating……hope you weren’t affected. Looking forward to visiting you on FoodBuzz.

I’m at Genentech, Sue. Unfortunately, there’s no shortage of need for state-of-the-art cancer drugs.
Hey Susan! Discovered your blog from Foodista and added your widget to my blogsite. Hope it’s alright with you going ahead before asking your permission!
Thank You Lee, and it’s nice to make a connection with another Foodista fan – I love that site!

Your pictures are amazing!
Hi Sue,
You have a great post about the Newburyport Farmers Market. It was part of the inspiration for the greater Newburyport Local Food Network. We have an open mtg at NBPT library 7/9 @6:45. Maybe you can stop by and say hi to the group. We make time to have self introductions by food preparers and how or why they try to use local foods.
What a beautiful site!
I stumbled across this while looking for methods of making Newengland Hotdog buns.
You are on my favorites now.
