Layers of Lemon Cooler

There’s nothing quite like the sweet-tart taste of lemonade to get you through a hot summer night…… unless it is this lemon-5-ways vodka cocktail that is! Sometimes contrasting flavors are great, but like a tone-on-tone color palette, at times a theme carried through to the last is soothing and refreshing. So is this drink that  can be sipped and enjoyed as a summer night lingers past.

Ingredients for Lemon Cooler Cocktail: (makes one drink, recipe multiplies easily)

• 1 cup good quality lemonade 
• 1/3 cup lemon sorbet
• 1 oz. lemon vodka
• 1 oz. limoncello (lemon liquer)
• 4 ice cubes
• Sugar for rimming tall glass
• 1 slice of fresh lemon for garnish

Lemon Cooler Cocktail Recipe Directions:

Combine the lemonade, sorbet, limoncello and vodka with a few ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Shake well, until everything is mixed and frothy. Slide a slice of lemon around the rim of a tall well chilled glass, dip the rim into some sugar, add the cocktail, ice cubes and garnish with the lemon slice. Enjoy!
